JetSpa Tours has selected five of the Netherlands’ most popular spas, commonly referred to as “Beauty Centers” or simply “Saunas.” The sauna’s that JetSpa Tours has chosen, vary in size and amenities to give you a complete experience. A typical visit to a Dutch Sauna starts at the front desk, where you will be provided with a robe, towel and slippers. You then enter a coed dressing room where you undress, place your clothes in lockers, and put on your robe. Guests must take a shower before entering the main facility. The size of the facility often determines the number of amenities available. Most of the facilities offer indoor and outdoor pools, foot soaking, a relaxation area, reading room, several types of saunas, infrared beds, and a bar, and restaurant. Access to these amenities are included in the standard admission fee. Most of the facilities also offer massages at an additional cost. Larger facilities, such as the Elysium, provide a panoply of extra amenities from massages and beauty treatments to complete relaxation and revitalization packages. Thermae Sauna Den ILP

A relatively new mid-size Sauna located just north of Amsterdam in the city Ilp. This facility features an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, several Jacuzzis, five different types of saunas, a relaxation area, and a restaurant and bar. This is a large, popular Beauty Center located in the city of Leiden, between Amsterdam and The Hague. This facility features an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, several Jacuzzis, several types of saunas, a relaxation area, and a restaurant and bar. The Elysium

The Elysium is the Netherlands’ largest Beauty Center. It is located just north of Rotterdam in the city of Bleiswijk. The facility boasts a man-made beach, an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, outdoor salt pool, several Jacuzzis, 6 types of baths, 3 steam baths, 12 types of saunas, 5 types of meditation gardens, a relaxation area and several restaurants.
